Description
Clon is a SaaS platform designed to provide a one-stop interface for generative AI tools. Users can create images and videos by interacting with different AI models through a single platform. The platform integrates multiple AI services, including Kling, VIO, Banana, Black Forest, and others, and allows users to manage prompts, avatars, audio, and pricing directly in the interface.
We joined the project mid-development as the sole development team, responsible for integrating new AI models, updating the UI based on designs, and maintaining smooth functionality across multiple AI APIs. Our role included ensuring that new versions of AI models and features were implemented efficiently and accurately, while keeping the platform usable and visually consistent.
Challenge
The main challenge was to integrate multiple generative AI tools, each with its own API, into a single, seamless interface that felt coherent and intuitive to users. We also needed to ensure that AI models were updated regularly as new versions and capabilities were released, keeping the platform up to date with the latest technology.
Another challenge was handling variations in AI outputs, including image and video generation, audio addition, and prompt-based adjustments, so that users could consistently create high-quality content. At the same time, the UI components for pricing, billing, and general user interaction had to be maintained and improved, reflecting design updates and ensuring clarity for users.
Finally, the platform needed to remain responsive and reliable even as new features and AI integrations were added, ensuring smooth performance and a positive user experience while scaling functionality.
Solution
- Implemented integration pipelines for multiple AI services, ensuring new models and updates were reflected on the platform promptly
- Updated the UI and workflows based on provided design iterations, including pricing pages and billing components
- Built flexible interfaces for users to select prompts, avatars, and audio for videos, as well as image/video options
- Maintained the React/Node.js frontend to ensure stability while new AI features were added
- Coordinated closely with the client to manage priorities for AI updates and feature rollouts
