Absurd Design is a SaaS solution developed for a design studio to monetize original illustrations through a subscription-based online catalog. Users can subscribe to the platform and gain access to curated illustration packs, while administrators manage content, users, and billing through a dedicated admin panel. The platform includes both a public-facing website and a back-office system, enabling efficient management of users, illustrations, subscriptions, and payments. The solution was delivered end to end and supported over several years to ensure stable operation and scalability.
Challenge
The main challenge was to design and deliver a complete SaaS product that would allow a creative studio to monetize its content through subscriptions while keeping the system simple to manage and cost-effective to maintain. The platform needed to support user accounts, controlled access to illustrations, subscription management, and payment processing, all while providing an intuitive admin interface for non-technical users. Additionally, the product had to be launched efficiently and remain stable during long-term operation with minimal maintenance overhead.
