Description
Buydo is a large-scale marketplace platform owned by a global retail organization. We entered the project as a long-term technical partner after the previous vendor failed to meet quality expectations. Our responsibilities included stabilizing the system, migrating servers, optimizing performance, and developing new features. We also ensured the platform’s technical readiness for major marketing and sales campaigns, providing ongoing support to guarantee smooth, high-traffic launches and continuous platform growth.
Challenge
We inherited an unstable and outdated codebase from the previous vendor, which created significant challenges in maintaining and improving the platform. Numerous unresolved technical issues were undermining its stability and overall performance, while the lack of clear processes and technical documentation made the situation even more complex. Another challenge was the need to quickly align with the client’s in-house team and marketing department to meet critical campaign deadlines. On top of that, the server infrastructure required a complete optimization to ensure it could handle high traffic loads.
Solution
- Conducted a full audit of the existing system and identified critical performance bottlenecks.
- Took over as the lead development team, replacing the previous vendor entirely.
- Migrated to a new server infrastructure with improved architecture and scalability.
- Optimized backend and frontend performance, including faster page transitions and better load times.
- Developed and deployed new features in line with evolving business needs.
- Provided ongoing technical support for marketing campaigns, ensuring smooth launches.
- Established efficient communication processes between all stakeholders.
